Challenges:
The challenge was to design rings that both celebrated their individuality and resonated with a shared theme. To achieve this, we drew inspiration from the groom's surname, which translated to 'meadow' in English. This beautifully evocative concept became the foundation for their rings.
We talked at length about ideas and things the couple loved in life. Initially we explored taking artistic inspiration from the mind-bending graphic designs and art of M. C. Escher but quickly realized that whilst engraving such precise and detailed designs into a ring is physically possible, the extremely fine lines would not hold up long to everyday wear, so we decided to explore a different creative direction.

Groom's Ring: Masculine Elegance
For the groom, we fashioned a wide 'cigar' style rose gold band. The highlight of his ring was a picturesque meadow scene, with a majestic tree in the foreground. This design exuded masculine strength and rooted him to his family heritage.

Bride's Ring: Graceful Femininity
The bride's ring, on the other hand, was a slender and more delicate rose gold creation. It featured the intricate leaves of the oak tree, harmonizing beautifully with the groom's ring, symbolizing her connection to his legacy. These rings are a testament to the power of personalized design, where two distinct personalities intertwine, much like the oak tree and the meadow—a love that's deeply rooted and endlessly flourishing.
